Start a Lodge

Thank you for your interest in starting a new Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA) lodge. We welcome the opportunity to have you as a member of our organization which has been in existence for 119 years and is the oldest and largest organization in the nation advocating for Italians and Italian Americans.

We have many resources to assist you with the process.  The entire National Membership Commission stands ready to work with you. They may be contacted at membership@osia.org.

If you are in a location with a Grand Lodge, please contact them directly for information on starting a filial – or local – lodge.

First, you must have at least 25 members sign the “Application for Charter” document that you will receive upon request from the National Office; requests may be made by e-mail nationaloffice@osia.org or by phone at 202-547-2900.
